Speke Hall, Garden & Estate
Is only a short journey from Liverpool airport. This half timbered
house built in 1530 with its fine interiors and staggering gardens
is well worth a visit.
The Albert Dock
The Merseyside Museum built in 1980 commemorates Liverpool's seafaring
past.
Liverpool Football Ground
Home of the mighty reds who from the days of the late and legendary
Bill Shankly went onto to dominate English football and win 4 European
cups. Within the ground is a retail shop and a full history of the
club.

The Beatles
The sons of Liverpool are still a massive draw from people within
the UK and from abroad.
20 Forthlin Road, Allerton
Home of Paul McCartney. This 1950s terraced house is where the
Beatles met, rehearsed and wrote many of their earliest songs. Displays
include contemporary photographs by Michael McCartney and early
Beatles memorabilia. The audio tour features contributions from
both Michael and Sir Paul McCartney.
John Lennon Statue
This statue of John is just across from the Cavern Club and outside
the Cavern Pub. It was unveiled on the 16th January 1997.
The Cavern Club
Where it all started. The Cavern Club of today is a replica built
from the old bricks of the original and opened in 1984. The original
was knocked down in the seventies and used as a car park for many
years.
The Beatles Story
In Liverpool's historic Albert Dock (on Gower Street) you can visit
an award-winning museum called The Beatles Story. Here you can relive
the story of the group and its music.
